Getting it to site — wherever the site is
A designed room only counts once it is standing, finished, on the floor. Emporia carries the whole non-food package from one account to the property — including the remote and island sites most suppliers quietly decline.
Most supply plans are written for the day everything works. On a pre-opening programme, the part that gets remembered is what happens on the day it doesn’t.
A resort on an atoll is not a harder version of a city hotel — it is a different logistics problem, and it is the one Emporia is built around. We plan delivery, clearance and continuity as part of the specification, not as an afterthought once the order is placed.
Island & remote delivery · Consolidated freight · Customs & clearance · The mock-up room · Supply continuity · Re-order against the approved reference.
Built for the destinations other suppliers decline
Proven operational capability delivering across the Maldives, Bora Bora, Mauritius, Seychelles and Zanzibar — where the last mile is a boat, a tide and a customs window, not a loading bay.

Every freight mode
Sea freight, air freight, sea–air hybrid and express courier — chosen per order against the opening date rather than fixed by policy.

Consolidated shipments
Cross-category orders combined into consolidated shipments, to cut down what a property has to receive, store and clear on site.
One shipment, not a queue of them
Customs & clearance
End-to-end customs, port handling and in-market regulatory coordination — usually the point where an import actually stalls.

Freight mode is chosen per order against the opening date, not fixed by policy. Where a date moves, the mode is re-quoted rather than the deadline being missed quietly.
One room, built and signed off, before the floor is made
On a programme of any size, one room is built before the rest are made. Not a sample board and not a rendering — an identical room, at full size, finished to the specification.
Built to the real room
To the room’s real dimensions, not a showroom approximation — every specified finish, fitting and fabric in place together, so the room is judged as a guest would experience it.
Signed off, then replicated
Revised in place until the owner, the operator and the designer all sign it off. The signed-off room then becomes the production reference for the whole floor.
Mock-up rooms are quoted separately from the production order, and the cost is set against the programme rather than the single room. On a multi-property rollout, one mock-up ordinarily serves the whole standard.
What happens when the chain breaks
These are the arrangements for the day the plan meets reality — so a disruption is absorbed without changing the guest-facing specification.
Multi-country sourcing
Lines are sourced across the UAE, China, India, South America, Vietnam and the Philippines, so a single country’s disruption does not stop a specification.
Back-up factories
Key lines carry an alternative production route, qualified against the same approved sample rather than found in a hurry.
Buffer stock
Held in regional warehouses, so a top-up order on an operating property does not wait on a full production run.
Multiple freight partners
More than one line on each major route, so a booking that falls through is re-booked rather than re-planned.
Emergency air freight
Available against an opening date, quoted openly as the cost trade-off it is rather than absorbed silently.
Local regulatory partners
In-market offices and partners hold the relationships that clear goods — usually where an import actually stalls.
Quality control runs as pre-shipment inspection against the approved sample. Where a specification calls for a named standard or a certificate, it is quoted, evidenced and named for that line — never asserted generally.
